Government funding schemes are specific and restrictive
In the case of applying for a government subsidy scheme, the corresponding terms and conditions are very complex, coupled with the lack of supporting environment, even if the application is successful, few contractors are shortlisted, and it is difficult for residential estates with a large number of stakeholders to reach a consensus in practice.
Installing power-up equipment is expensive
It is not easy for the power companies to provide additional electricity upgrades for residential estates, and the re-supply will inevitably constitute a huge expense, and it is difficult to reach a consensus on the principle of user pays, including the use of the OC’s funds.

Pros:

Shared charging
Co-ordinated by the property management, the contractor assists in calculating the standby power of the entire residential estate, and distributes the electricity to the entire car park through the “Charging Sharing” system, with several parking spaces sharing a charging device and charging on a monthly basis
Pros:
- To become a smart residential estate where every parking space can be charged, and the overall property’s value is elevated alongside with rental yields.
- Electricity consumption is allocated on a relatively fair basis, and owners who buy trams in the future also have charging facilities, and the coverage of charging facilities can reach up to 100%
